Medicinal Mindfulness Foundations is a multicultural, multifaith church and a community of practice — built so DMTx can exist legally, ethically, and sustainably.

More a community of practice than a ministry or congregation, MMF is a psychedelic skill-development practice and a sincere expression of sacred communion within a framework of positive social service.
136 members from around the world. All available federal legal protections for the religious use of psychedelic sacraments — in addition to NMHA protections in Colorado. While not central to the church, DMTx is a primary initiation.
Registered with the state of Colorado as a church in 2025, with all available federal legal protections for the religious use of psychedelic sacraments, Medicinal Mindfulness Foundations is a "psychedelic mindfulness community of practice," more so than a ministry or congregation. The community is a psychedelic skill-development practice and a sincere expression of sacred communion within a framework of positive social service. While not central to the church, DMTx is a primary initiation.
We currently have 136 members from around the world, and have built the proper membership and community structure to legally and ethically support DMTx and other practices.
The long-term goals of the program are to provide substantial religious protections for our guides and members, even outside the protections of the Natural Medicine Health Act (NMHA) and the borders of Colorado. And we intend to build a location that is zoned as a church but designed to best support psychedelic community practice and the DMTx Project.
Under the NMHA and religious use protections, we will focus on 7 sacraments (6 psychedelics and breathwork), to both bring transformational healing to our members and our communities, and to also cultivate a space for scientific inquiry, creative expression, skillful meditation, and prayer, implementing ceremonies and protocols for collective transformation at the highest levels.
To these ends, we seek meaningful partnerships with other innovators to help support the DMTx Project and our greater mission.
Become a Member. If you are not ready for DMTx but still want to be part of a collective vision, consider joining and supporting the program through your membership. Remember, we've built a protocol for providing DMTx journeys for our long-term members.
Donate or Partner. DMTx attracts innovators and systems-changers. Ethical structure costs real money. Help with a tax-deductible donation, or consider investing in related programs, or a future church property in Boulder, Colorado. Help us build a sustainable home for DMTx and private community gatherings. Any amount helps. Connect with us about any partnerships, ideas, or skills you can bring to the table.
We envision a community of practice that serves as a refuge for honest inquiry, healing, and belonging in a fragmented world.
A place where people are met with dignity and care without being asked to surrender their agency, identity, or capacity for discernment. Where compassion guides action, integrity governs power, and justice shapes how we relate to one another and the wider world.
We hold space for depth, mystery, and relationship with the more-than-human world while remaining grounded in humility, critical inquiry, and responsibility. We honor science and myth, reason and reverence, individuality and community, without demanding certainty or conformity.
We exist to reduce suffering and support human flourishing by cultivating communities that are safe, inclusive, and accountable. Communities where refuge is available in times of transition or distress, growth is invited but never coerced, and belonging is not contingent on belief, payment, or performance.
Our vision is a living spiritual home that prepares people not to withdraw from the world, but to return to it more whole, more connected, and more capable of contributing to collective thriving across generations.
Used together to bring transformational healing to members and communities — and to cultivate space for scientific inquiry, creative expression, skillful meditation, and prayer. The seven sacraments are Breathwork, Cannabis, Ketamine, Mushrooms, Non-Peyote Mescaline, N,N-DMT, and 5-MeO-DMT.
Continue with the program after your retreat — regular church meetings, community gatherings, and psychedelic ceremonies, in person and online throughout the year.
Long-term church members can apply for fully funded DMTx journeys. Of the 33 journeys so far, 21 were gifted to members.
Join our training program. Learn to become a psychedelic guide. Eventually lead your own DMTx experiences.
Community of Practice, the "Church" Community: As a new member of the church you can continue with the program and attend our regular church meetings, community gatherings, and psychedelic ceremonies, offered in person and online throughout the year. Hang out with us as long as you want to. As far as we're concerned, you're family. Join our training program and learn to become a psychedelic guide for others. Eventually lead your own DMTx experiences.
Members of our church are also invited to apply to receive a free DMTx session. We offer these 1–2 times a year. While we can't host a raffle for safety screening reasons, church members will be selected by objective, clear standards with no favoritism through a council of church leaders. We select members that are ready, and who have a history of giving back to their community by engaging in social activism and volunteering.

Yes, we're doing this. In 2026, two community members will be selected for a day of sacred expeditions into the multiverse — fully funded. This is not a random raffle (too many screening variables for that), but we'll make it as fair as possible. A council of folks who have experienced DMTx or have been on the team will select.
Qualifications will be based on the following factors:
Substantial protections for guides and members, even outside Colorado.
A space zoned as a church, designed for psychedelic community practice and the DMTx Project itself.
DMTx attracts innovators and systems-changers. We seek partnerships to support the mission.
